Note: task#2 & #3 of this quests, and also Amazon Adventure 4, task #3, require players to fish at the location (Jungle Crash) that is accessible only by Fishing Boat, that costs 17 Pearls.
If you do not have enough Pearls to spend for Fishing Boat, then it is perfectly okay to set aside this quest till you have enough Pearls to buy the boat.
Also, it may be helpful to "plan ahead" before when buying Fishing Boat, and use this chance to explore other fishing spots that are accessible only by Fishing Boat while you have the vessel at your disposal.
Also, keep in mind that Fishing Boat WILL, just like any other vessel, wear out and eventually disappear (used up) and then you need to buy another fishing vessel of your choice. So... please keep that in mind, and if you would like to prolong the life of Fishing Boat it may be wise to conserve your trip and try not to make unnecessary trips that require boat while in possession of Fishing Boat.

For Brycon, Scuds with 70 kg hook works. Also, Bread with 2 kg hook works also. :)

-
Hello Zoki79
I had not been able to catch one on float yet. It is spin only so far. Luck potion helps with spin. I will update if I do catch one on float :)
-
okk tnx Donna
-
isolated lure,45 kg,also help.with bigger tackle and spinning line.
-
spinning speed 1
-
A couple of questions on catching the ever illusive Xingu. What does Spinning Speed 1 mean (does this mean use Depth 1)? Which Amazon location works best to catch these (I have tried with very little success at Jungle Crash)? Which specific lure(s) work best?
The task is to catch 55 of these so I would think there is a faster way to catch these as the rate I am going now will take about 2 months :-)

Hello pkg123
I ccaught them on dept 2 with dung beetle lure. They do take alot of patience to catch
-
Thanks Donna. Where did you catch them?
-
Jungle Crash
-
<image not accessible>
So they can be caught on float tackle. Got him on Pumpkin Bait.
-
Thank you jrjo381 :)
-
I have caught the Xingu Ray with scuds casting left at #2 depth in jungle crash but only 1 for every 10 to 15 casts.
-
try minnows
-
What I found to be the best way for catching the Xingu River Ray is 300kg float tackle - hook and line with minnows for bait. In this way all small fish below 15kg are avoided ;)
Place Jungle Crash

Hello makmidov
That is very good information. Thank you :)
-
400kg and Shrimp worked really well. Went from 18 to done in about 20-30 minutes for the Rays.
-
Thanks jrj0381
Worked great with the shrimp. I also used big luck and breadcrum & Schrimp chum. Took about 30 minutes to catch them.
