Any input on how to catch Trophy King Salmon? 
I can catch a ton of King Salmon on Shrimps at Bright Moon but absolutely no Trophy sizes. (pkg123)

The search for Trophy King Salmon continues with no positive results.  I currently do not own 100kg gear, but I have used both my 150kg and 400kg gear with both Clams and Shrimp (I catch more King Salmon on Shrimp than Clams) with no Trophy catches.  Anyone having positive results here?  Do you think I really have to have 100kg gear and 100kg gear only to catch trophy King Salmon?

Caught all 3 Trophy King Salmon at Bright Moon with 450kg gear on Shrimp and LUCK POTION!!!!  Caught them in 15 minutes.

King Salmon, Bright Moon, Scuds, 500 kg hook - Icebear April  2020


Added on May 2020, by Icebear
Unique Brook Trout, Open Water, Shrimp chum, 40 kg coin hook, Bread or Dog food
Without Luck potion it will take a little longer, but it can be done. Get it done very fast if using Luck potion.
Spoon lure plus Luck potion works also. Spoon lure without using Luck potion may take a long while.

Hi.
King Salmon, Kenai River, Bright Moon
Clams, 50 kg set, depth 2
Took me less then 30 minutes
Trophy starts about 26 kg
