Finally caught a unique Stellate Sturgeon. Caught it at Dark Waters with 450kg gear on a Minnow with LUCK POTION!!!!!

The search for Trophy King Salmon continues with no positive results. I currently do not own 100kg gear, but I have used both my 150kg and 400kg gear with both Clams and Shrimp (I catch more King Salmon on Shrimp than Clams) with no Trophy catches. Anyone having positive results here? Do you think I really have to have 100kg gear and 100kg gear only to catch trophy King Salmon?

I ended up buying Trout Boilies and caught all 3 Rainbows with 50kg gear at Misty Forest in 11 casts.

Bought 13 Bass Figurines for a 3500 gold investment and received in turn 590 Gold and 1 Fish n' Chip. Not a good investment either (IMHO). :-)

I had 19 corn and caught 5 Round Sardinella. Not bad at all. Nothing yet on the lures but will update this post if that changes. Thanks Donna! Still no luck with the lures but the only spin rod I own is 350kg. Will using such a big rod negatively impact the ability to catch a very small fish?

Thanks Donna! That is still a 60 pearl investment which I will pass on. Very high cost for this one (IMHO). When I do accumulate snake pieces I will be sure to go to Sunset Cliffs.

I tried fishing for the Gold Tetra Lemon (GTL) using Snake Pieces at Far Croft (which would be a logical spot since goint to Far Croft is part of this quest) but only was slightly more successful. Used my remaining 15 snake pieces and only caught 1 GTL. Doing the math would result in needing 450 snake pieces which would require a 90 pearl investment! Definitely not worth it for this task. Skipping this one :-)

Starting to really worry about this quest. Spent 5 pearls on 25 Snake Pieces with 400kg gear (which I just purchased). 10 casts so far at Mill House with 0 Gold Tetra Lemons. Not a good trend and not sure it is worth the potential pearl spend to gain just 5 pearls back. Any suggestions?

I started this task by focusing on the 10 Gold Jacunda at Sunset Cliff. I used the 350kg Spinning Gear with Trolling lure to success though it took about 2-3 hours. Caught some Gold Brycon there as a byproduct. Then went to Old Mill and using the same Spinning config completed the Gold Brycon.

I had success catching both of these at Sunset Cliffs with 350kg Spinning Gear using the Trolling Lure.
