Is there a problem with this quest? i have caught unique smallmouth bass but is not showing up as caught.

I believe the small mouth bass has to be trophies not uniques as they will not count unless it is a trophy

No. The quest askes for unique. I have caught about 50 trophy since the quest started.

I am on this quest and it only requires normal fish. You must be using chum however. I just discovered this because I caught one of the small mouth bass on a spoon and was given credit. The chum is the required thing here, not the fish class or even the bait.
