Worked great with the shrimp. I also used big luck and breadcrum & Schrimp chum. Took about 30 minutes to catch them.

I am having severe problems catching the trophy spiny dogfish. I have tried everything listed here above and still nothing. I tried the Big luck potion with the various chums and everything else listed above. I still cannot find even 1 trophy.

I am having a real problem with the unique lingcods on this quest. Everything else went well. I have tried the minnow lure and the spinner. I have tried most of the baits including frogs, minnows, smelt, tadpoles and others. I used gear from 70kg to 150kg luck potions and various chums even breadcrums, worms, shrimp, dog food, and fish pieces individually and all 5 combined. Still nothing unique.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell me what the rewards are for the levels above 100. Below 100 it was 2 pearls and at level 100 it was 10
pearls. What are they above 100 are they increased or increased just for certan levels?

I found them easy to catch on Mullet Bait. I got through the 1st quest in less than 15 minutes and got about half way through the 2nd one when a moment of inattention cost me my red hook. I figure I will complete the rest og my quests and then bite the bullet and pay the pearls for another hook.
I wish there was a way to restart the marlin hunting quests so i could earn another hook.

I can not catch the trophy coho salmon in Lake Michigan.
I have used luck potions and all five regular chums (bread crumbs, worm, shrimp, fish scraps, and dog food at every location on Lake Michigan. I have used both Spoon and jig lures (these have caught me one regular coho salmon per 25 totals fish. no trophy size at all.
I have also used Worms, larvae, minnows, smelts, salmon bollies, bass bollies, clams, shrimps and just about every other float baits. These were used at all locations, with luck potions and all 5 major chums.
My float tackle is 150lb and I also tried 100lb tackle.
I have been playing this game since it started and can't seem to catch any trophy cohos no matter what I do. I have spent hours and hours at least 50 chums each location and more than 10 luck potions. I will say that my 1 coho to 25 other fish catch ratio goes to 1 in 50 using float tackle.
There was no problem catching them at the other 2 locations.

Ï caught a couple Record catfish and a unique. In the old game they would have counted as trophy fish? Is this part of the design of the new game or is it a bug? So far ive caught 50 catfish on catfish bollies, but not one trophy. I don't have any luck potion so i cant use that to catch one.

I guess what I am not understanding is I have to complete Master Chef (3) to move up to I assume 4 and then 6.
However how can I cook the baked fish needed in Master Chef 3 when you have to be Master Chef 5 to make it.
It seems like a catch 22 scenario?
