Pencil lure @ Misty Forest for the Spookfish & Ghost fish and you'll catch a few of the pikes as well. It's slow but steady fishing, roughly 1 cast in 3 gets a fish and roughly every 2nd fish is one of the ones you need.

I finished the last few pike off at Still Water on dog food as I knew I could catch them fast there.

I miss that potion too but if you do the "Release 180 Fish" daily you get 2 bottles of Go Beer which is a 30% boost to xp and gold for a day which in comparison is probably better if you play for any length of time.

Just to add and confirm.. once you get to level 5 and are able to cook baked fish and you will also be able to cook 2 different dishes at once as that gets unlocked at the same time. The same happens when you get the level to cook fried fish, it unlocks the ability to cook 3 different dishes at once.

I've always thought that the term unique has seemed wrong as it is used in the game. Unique is one of a kind, something rare but we all know unique fish are plenty. Now that the max weight is messed up it's even worse and you can catch 20 "uniques" in a row, thats not unique thats common

I suggest we do away with the term Unique and replace it with Specimen. The word is significant and relevant when it comes to the largest fish of any species and fits in really well with the Trophy description and would be really simple to do I assume as it is effectively a Find and Replace function. Just an idea anyway...

@vapor Just about any lure will work for cichlids and also for all the other gold fish except Gold Payara. I've never caught Payara on a lure. I was using the troll lure most of the time but now I've earned enough gold for better gear I tend to use the spinner lure. My favourite location is Sunset Cliff, it seems to be a nice steady stream of good sized fish.

This one reads as "Complete collection: Metal Cup" instead of "Farm".

These are just set requirement description text errors, the quests complete as normal once you complete the relevant set.

Nice changes to the display of conditions for quests but I did notice an error with Farmers Daughter 2. It displays "Complete collection: Pot" instead of "Flowers"

I think any of the locations in Lake Baikal will work, I did mine at Mysterious Train. 150k float gear and fresh meat for bait and it didn't take long, within 100 casts for sure. Use bigger tackle if you have it as they can be lively.
