I am on this quest and it only requires normal fish. You must be using chum however. I just discovered this because I caught one of the small mouth bass on a spoon and was given credit. The chum is the required thing here, not the fish class or even the bait.

This was #25. I got most of them on clams and 2000kg hook/line with normal fish scrap chum. a couple on mutant worms and pumpkin bait each, 2 or 3 with this spinner setup. Surprisingly none on a spinner bait lure. Blues were pretty much the same but came much quicker. Patience is the big thing here, and energy potions

Getting them on the meat. Thanks for this :)

Regarding the hook...Is this not the same 400 pro hook that can be bought for 14 pearls? The specs are the same. Has anyone tried it? If it's the same, that would be a replacement option for those who have the pearls to do it. I held off buying that one when I saw the red hook was a reward for this. There's no 400 pro line but the line isn't going anywhere. If I ever get around to buying the hook, I will test and let you know, if no one else has. (Edit: Got my own answer by removing the hook a minute. IT is indeed the same 400 pro hook that is in the market, so there is a way to replace if player has the pearls. I was fortunate enough not to lose the hook :) )

so far, I have only got mullet on spoon. Mostly at Crystal bay but 1 or 2 at lazy creek. Have not found a bait set-up to get them yet. Any thoughts? Corn working great for the sardinellas on 5k. nearly done with those. Gobyies I can get all over lake michigan area. actually a nuisance while trying to get anything else so that won't be a prob

* Following up...on a friend's suggestion, tried smelts for the mullets, found them on 20kg (normal) set-up. Crystal Bay. Got the quota by swapping back and forth with a spoon. Also, Lazy Creek turned out to be a good place for  gobies. 2k set-up and bread if you want to stay in the area

I got the 2 needed electric catfish at African village. Both using 20kg pro setup, depth 2. One one on a catfish bollie and the other on smelts. Came after many changes of hooks and baits

Could someone with better eyesight than myself list what the above settups are please? I think I'm seeing 100kg, 50kg and the bottom 2 are pro hooks/line, the last possibly the one earned in marlin hunting 3? Is that correct?
