Starting to really worry about this quest.  Spent 5 pearls on 25 Snake Pieces with 400kg gear (which I just purchased).  10 casts so far at Mill House with 0 Gold Tetra Lemons.  Not a good trend and not sure it is worth the potential pearl spend to gain just 5 pearls back.  Any suggestions?

Hello pkg123, if you have friends you can ask friends to send you Bass figurine as a gift. Or, you can buy Bass figurines with coins in Market. One of the prizes is Snake pieces. I think many players are getting Snake Pieces that way.

I only have 1 friend  in the new game.  Finding friends that gift is not easy.  There are a lot of people out there that are not on the up and up.

I understand, pkg123. You can add your post to our Go Fishing Add-me thread, and/or maybe you can send forum message to those forum members who post actively in forum and introduce yourself and ask them to be your Go Fishing friend?
Also, you can add your Facebook link to your "signature" and ask forum members to add you.

I tried fishing for the Gold Tetra Lemon (GTL) using Snake Pieces at Far Croft (which would be a logical spot since goint to Far Croft is part of this quest) but only was slightly more successful.  Used my remaining 15 snake pieces and only caught 1 GTL.  Doing the math would result in needing 450 snake pieces which would require a 90 pearl investment!  Definitely not worth it for this task.  Skipping this one :-)

I was able to complete the quest with about 300 snake pieces at sunset cliffs

Thanks Donna!  That is still a 60 pearl investment which I will pass on.  Very high cost for this one (IMHO).  When I do accumulate snake pieces I will be sure to go to Sunset Cliffs.

Hello pkg123, this event is extended to next Friday, so we still have some time. Try catching as many Golden fish to gain more coins, and buy Bass figurines with them, that can win you prizes including Snake Pieces (even when you don't win Snake Pieces you may also win other baits and food items that your can use later, or some coins, so it will not be a total loss. ) Good luck!

Bought 13 Bass Figurines for a 3500 gold investment and received in turn 590 Gold and 1 Fish n' Chip.  Not a good investment either (IMHO).  :-)

What you get from Bass figurine varies, sometimes you get Luck or Energy potion, or chopped worms chum, or various baits also.  Here is the list of prizes you get from Bass figurine.
