A couple of questions on catching the ever illusive Xingu.  What does Spinning Speed 1 mean (does this mean use Depth 1)?  Which Amazon location works best to catch these (I have tried with very little success at Jungle Crash)?  Which specific lure(s) work best?

The task is to catch 55 of these so I would think there is a faster way to catch these as the rate I am going now will take about 2 months :-)

I have caught the Xingu Ray with scuds casting left at #2 depth in jungle crash but only 1 for every 10 to 15 casts.

What I found to be the best way for catching the Xingu River Ray is 300kg float tackle - hook and line with minnows for bait. In this way all small fish below 15kg are avoided ;)

400kg and Shrimp worked really well.  Went from 18 to done in about 20-30 minutes for the Rays.

Thanks jrj0381

Worked great with the shrimp. I also used big luck and breadcrum & Schrimp chum. Took about 30 minutes to catch them.
