I think this is the quest where you need to catch a Trophy Channel Catfish.  I finally caught one at Dark Waters with 450kg gear using Catfish Boilies and LUCK POTION!!!!  Only 2 casts with Luck potion.  Without Luck potion I had no luck at all :-)

Ï caught a couple Record catfish and a unique. In the old game they would have counted as trophy fish?  Is this part of the design of the new game or is it a bug? So far ive caught 50 catfish on catfish bollies, but not one trophy. I don't have any luck potion so i cant use that to catch one.

A record fish is your record of the fish. it may or may not be a trophy or unique only your top record caught. Try 300k setup and catfish boilies at heart of Danube or Dark waters for a trophy channel cat
