Can anyone please help with what bait and tackle to use for the Burbot?

This is just stupid, i tried everything, every bait he likes, every lure, different set ups and the closest i came is a 19kg burbot and tons of 5 to 10kg's.
Been trying for 3 day's now, just did a 3 hour session to catch this fish and nothing. I even asked in gameroom and tried out what ppl said.

And for what... 100xp and 50 coins???

No need to reply...this quest "got me of the hook"....i'm leaving this game, bb all and have fun ^^

Our friend tested it last night, and he was able to catch this one with no problem. Looks like he used Minnow lure. 




Just for the info to everyone, on this game there are many quests that would legitimately take longer than 3 days to complete.

Sure every quest is easier with a luck potion, i can see why he had no problem catching it.
Tell him to try without that potion and than we will talk lol :p

Again 5 hours down the drain on this stupid fish :/
This is just a trick to buy pearls i think...so you can use a luck potion, let me say 1 thing...in fishing there is not such a thing as luck potions, no matter what game of fishing you play. And yes, i used this minnow lure (again)...so dont tell me its NO PROBLEM !

Using Luck potion is a must in some quests, and it is part of the game. Just like some fish needs bigger size hook, or specific lure, some quest requires the use of Luck potion to complete.
If you were not using Luck potion, then no wonder you had hard time completing the task. 

If you do not want to buy Luck potion in Market, there are many other ways to obtain it without buying it with Pearls in Market.
You can get Luck potion as a reward by turning in completed Flower collection set,
or by completing "catch 100 Roaches" Daily task (it is an easy task, no difficult skills required, only takes time and patience, and you get 2 x Luck potions),
or as a prize on Fortune Wheel, or as a prize on Gold & Silver Lotteries or other Lottery type items (Bass figurine, Christmas Sock, that your friends can send you as a gift).


There is NO EXCUSE not to use Luck potion when necessary.
